Our server was given too many tables to effectively take care of us in a timely manner. She was also forgetful and we had to ask repeatedly for tea, etc. Having said that, she was a hard worker. The food was average today. Atmosphere is always perfect.
Best scones anywhere. Other food varies in quality but mostly good. Service slow. Welsh rarebit is on the menu, but we've tried to order it on two separate occasions and been told it's not available. Atmosphere is fabulous, and the tea varieties are amazing.
I visited the Tearoom late Saturday afternoon while my child was in a class nearby. I was seated outside and I had to wait a little while for a server. I was in no rush and unworried, but the front of the house manager, Billy, was so kind. He noticed I had been waiting and came to take my order. He delivered my tea and personally checked back to make sure everything was ok. His thoughtfulness went above and beyond, and it really warmed my heart. The food and drink excellent, and...
