But somehow the service was even better. Shoutout to Stella, our server, who absolutely made the night. Attentive, friendly, funny, and on top of everything without ever hovering. She handled our table like a pro and cooked some of our food for us too! , even while I was clearly having the time of my life and probably making a bit of a spectacle of myself. “I DO NOT RECOMMEND! What once was a great place to eat has gone down so poorly. Especially one worker, Bruce. He was so kind until he was not your server. Even when spoken to, if you don't sit in his section he is rude, will not acknowledge you and will say "your server will get it!" Very unsatisfied when our server was busy and Bruce just watched leaning against the wall. The soft shell crabs are so hard you can't eat. The food is greasy and over cooked. We used to go all the time, so did several other people we have known, and we stopped going. It's nowhere as busy as before and there's a reason for this! Food is not fresh and service is horrible now. Happy to drive to Baton Rouge!“
