Very good at everything

We went for my husband's birthday today. Anna was our server. The service was professional and courteous. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly. The plate presentation was on Fleek! And the flavor was on point as well. The ambiance was relaxing, clean and upscale. We were pleasantly surprised.

Went to this restaurant for Mother’s Day this year and it was absolutely incredible!! Service was perfect and food was to DIE FOR!!! Our waitress Elisha was absolutely amazing and gave great service despite being extremely busy! Definitely will be back for another meal very soon! Thank you Elisha and the Bonta del Forno crew for making my Mother’s Day perfect!

Nice Italian dining atmosphere with a menu that you would expext. The food is as good as you would get from some of the more expensive Italian restaurants in the area. The drinks are to perfection the chocolate martini is a must. All and all a nice place to bring the family for a weekend meal.

Food was good and server was so sweet and accommodating. The only minor issue were the gnats that kept circling around our food/drinks. They were easy to wave off put they were present throughout the meal. However, I still recommend this restaurant for a nice dining experience.

The food was great, the fried mozzarella was wonderful, the chicken Alfredo was delish! The 8oz filet was subpar- it tasted like a salt/pepper steak to which I don’t love (I don’t like the meaty raw flavor, I’m a southern person that needs seasoning!) it was great quality meat though and the other person in my party enjoyed it a lot! They said 10/10!!

My only “problem” is that this place is wildly expensive. There was 2 of us- 1 appetizer- 2 soft drinks- 2 entrees and it ran us $154.93!!! That’s just too much in my opinion(if you
Split the bill- that’s $77 a person), I would love to go back- but for that price tag… there are far FARRRR cheaper Italian 5 star restaurants between Baton Rouge and New Orleans that we could enjoy.

Seriously though, look how pretty that plating is!
It was Heavenly!! Perfect sauce, noodles were cooked to perfection, chicken tender and juicy.

He had the shrimp Alfredo. I tried the sauce, was pretty good. He really enjoyed it.

Dessert was limoncello cake. Y'all.... Crazy light, sweet and just perfect.

We've def found a new spot.

The Chicken Marsala and Pork Chop were fantastic. Of course, the dishes names were actually in Italian so you have to figure it out. But, it is worth it.

The pizza sauce tastes like the canned kind you buy at the supermarket; the dough was flavorless, as was the cheese. The pasta sauces were bland, the bread served as a starter was bitter, and they call themselves a “wine bar,” yet they don’t even bother to bring the bottle of wine they’re serving. The service, however, was okay.
