This Don's, overall, passes the test, and then some. I especially like their stuffed grilled shrimp. They give you at least 4 shrimp wrapped around delicious crab cakes.\nThe have good sides too, like their green beans and grilled corn. The char grilled oysters are pretty good. the gumbo, though, could be a little better. For one thing, it is too peppery. The old Don's in north Baton Rouge used to have about the best gumbo in town so I guess the standard by which I am...

Food was so good. Had the Seafood Platter. Shared it with my wife and we had leftovers. We also added the gumbo. (Chicken and Sausage) Very good. I had to try Don's Signature Old Fashioned. It was pretty good, not the best I have had but it was good. 4 out of 5 stars... Hot Honey Margarita was very good, Perfect spice/heat if you like that. Definitely would recommend this place and would come back if we are in the area again.
