El Rancho

Ordered my usual never had a problem in the past (chicken quesadilla) this time , I ordered take out per usual get home and it’s soo greasy it’s done basically turned to dough , at least the texture or raw dough , I ask me cheese and chicken only it’s still had veggies and a massive pile of Sour Cream I wasn’t gunna make a big deal called to let them know I wasn’t happy . They told me to rerun it so I did so the person at desk told me this is how it should be when I went to open it he completely and aggressively snatched and pushed at me to get the plate so I couldn’t open it. He knew it wasn’t right I then showed him the pictures I had taken I was going to have them remake it but after the aggression and poor customer service I couldn’t do it and ask for my money back at first he tried to tell me he couldn’t as I got more assertive with him he then gave me my refund. Before this I LOOOOVED this place but after this they won’t get another dollar from me.

So after our first Souther Muscle car show win. My beautiful wife and I decided to try this little out of the way Mexican restaurant. As many times as we’ve come to this area for the car shows. We never knew this place was here and it was literally right around the corner from us. The food is amazing. My wife had the fajitas. Served sizzling hot. Generous portions. Authentic Tex-Mex taste. I judge by how good the crunchy tacos are. I mean after all. If you can’t get something as simple as a taco right. You in the wrong business. Not the case here. Some of the best tasting tacos right out the gate. Seasoned just right. With generous amounts of rice and beans. This location checks all the right boxes. If I had to give it any negative at all. I would say a lil pricey for simple yet very taste Tex-Mex. With excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere. You can’t go wrong with this choice. If you live in the area and haven’t tried it yet. Give it a shot. I’d be surprised if you’re not satisfied.

The food was cold...waiter didn't have time to listen help.left without eating and paid for it anyways and the food wasn't even close to what we ordered will never go back and would and advise others not to go.

This restaurant had roaches crawling on the table and walls.

Ordered by phone walked in immediately was helped by hostess. Then she went got my food immediately upon being cooked and brought it to me. Fast, delicious and reasonably priced. Can't go wrong.

I just love the taco al carbon at El Rancho. It is A LOT of food, but soooo good! The charro beans are the best around. Nice place to grab some very well priced Mexican food. The staff is very attentive and friendly.

El Ranchos in Watson has been a staple for me for the last almost 20 years. I have graduated middle school and celebrated at El Ranchos, done Bible Study there, had first encounters there, moved 1,000 miles away and still ate there when I was in town visiting, I have now brought my own children there, I just recently celebrating the life of a friend I used to meet with there.All of this to say it’s wonderful food, pleasant and prompt service, affordable eating, and the bathroom is clean!I don’t know any workers, but I have a memory for almost every seat in the house. Thank you El Ranchos in Watson! 10/10 will dine again

Our server got one of our meals wrong. She brought our 1yo plate out that was so hot I couldn’t even touch it with my own hands. Then, when she brought my wife and my plate out we noticed she was using pot holders. If she can’t touch the plate with her own hands then she shouldn’t be bringing it to the table for a child.
