The Jambalaya Shoppe - Denham Springs

This place is my go to! After a busy day, nothing beats a cup of gumbo with potato salad, and if you havent tried it, you should!

After chatting it up with the owner and leaving, i got home to discover my potato salad wasnt included. I gave a quick call, explain the situation and drove back up there. And this is where you can REALLY tell how an establishment is managed. And let me tell you, the owner not only apologized, but gave me some more gumbo in case mine at the house was cold, which it is delicious either way! And a chocolate chip cookie.

The food was delicious, the people were wonderful, and the service was fast!! It was our first time trying Cajun food and it did not disappoint. Would definitely recommend if you're passing through Louisiana like us!!

My first time to actually go inside was 2 weeks ago. I've been back twice since then. The food is really good ,service is excellent. They all do a great job. They hooked me up!!! I love the decor they built inside

Absolutely love this place! My son and I can get the dinner and share it, so much food on one plate! The jambalaya is always perfect, as is everything else. Super clean place, always fantastic customer service! Love coming here because I know I’ll always leave full, happy, and satisfied!

Well, our school was having a JAMbalaya LEAP meeting with parents and of course we reached out to the Jambalaya Shoppe to assist. Everyone loved the Jambalaya! Whenever you're in the area check them out!

The gumbo at this location tasted like sink water. Was so disappointed as the cold weather called for gumbo! Went back again about a week later to see if it was just a bad day for the taste but same thing.

Stumble on this spot by accident & pleased I did. Was waiting for someone nearby & decided to try their gumbo which turned out pretty good as well as the service in a small but clean & cozy spot.
