I'm making this post because I just can't get over the disappointment.
First, let me say the staff was very kind and attentive.
Today was the only day that Rhonda my wife and I have been home at the same time for a while because of our work schedules. Since it’s Friday. We thought we would try the buffet for dinner. We got there tried a bit of everything but it was just bad. We ended up going home and cooked a pan of Lasagna for dinner. 50 plus dollars down the drain.

Staff was very friendly made you feel at home very nice people I suggest everyone try this place its worth the price and eat all you want if you leave still hungry its your fault because the food is A1.
Why is this expensive? The food is bland, yall are stingy with portions and seem to always be out of whats primarily requested... learn to make gumbo correctly lmao
Service is always good. Nice and polite, however rule of thumb is dining in you should leave a tip. Going through the drive thru u don’t leave a tip for someone just to hand u food u paid for. People do not like to be pressured to leave a tip when going through a drive thru (bad business). Makes customers not want to go back. Jambalaya is normally good however this time it reminded me of leftover jambalaya. (DRY) When u pay $60 bucks for jambalaya u want it to be fresh. I pulled through the drive thru at 11:45am so it should have tasted like it was just made.
Their gumbo is FANTASTIC!!! Wonderful, friendly service too!! You gotta check them out!!

Food very bland absolutely no flavor in anything. Everything was literally bland down from the jambalaya, Mac and cheese even the red beans , when I received my food I had to get it and add my own seasonings at home ! Don’t recommend this place at all

My husband Ordered 2 jambalaya lunches lat feed 2 each. They were 14.49 each. This is what he got. 2 freaking drinking cups of jambalaya.. I asked him why he didn’t bring it back. His response was that we had workers at the house that were starving and he needed to feed them. This was a sad excuse of the amount of food that he was given for that price. One cup of this was barely enough to feed 1 person. I will make sure he never goes here again. They are a rip off. I would rather drive 12 miles to Rice and Roux in Baton Rouge then to ever spend my money at this place again.

This place is my go to! After a busy day, nothing beats a cup of gumbo with potato salad, and if you havent tried it, you should!
After chatting it up with the owner and leaving, i got home to discover my potato salad wasnt included. I gave a quick call, explain the situation and drove back up there. And this is where you can REALLY tell how an establishment is managed. And let me tell you, the owner not only apologized, but gave me some more gumbo in case mine at the house was cold, which it is delicious either way! And a chocolate chip cookie.

The food was delicious, the people were wonderful, and the service was fast!! It was our first time trying Cajun food and it did not disappoint. Would definitely recommend if you're passing through Louisiana like us!!

My first time to actually go inside was 2 weeks ago. I've been back twice since then. The food is really good ,service is excellent. They all do a great job. They hooked me up!!! I love the decor they built inside
