When were looking for a date night or just not to cook we tend to end up here, wehad a really solid experience overall. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food in the DeRidder area, this place is definitely worth checking out.

The food was very good. I tried a mix of tacos and sides, and everything came out hot, fresh, and well seasoned. The tacos had great flavor and the portions were generous. The rice and beans were also well prepared and tasted homemade rather than something that had been sitting out. The menu has a good variety too, including street tacos, seafood options, and classic Mexican dishes, so there’s something for pretty much everyone.

Service was another highlight. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. Our food came out pretty quickly even though they had a few other tables seated. The overall atmosphere was casual and relaxed, which made it an easy place to sit down and enjoy a meal without feeling rushed.

The restaurant itself was clean and comfortable. It’s not a fancy place, but it feels welcoming and authentic, which honestly adds to the experience. You can tell they focus more on the food and service than trying to be trendy.

The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that there were a couple small things that could improve the experience. A few more drink options and maybe slightly quicker table clearing during busy times would make things even better. Nothing major, just small details.

Overall though, this is a great local spot with flavorful food, friendly service, and fair prices. I’ll definitely be back again the next time I’m craving tacos.

My husband and I loved our late lunch date here. The food was fresh, delicious and flavorful. It's a cute place you wouldn't expect to be so good. I highly recommend it for a family outing, date night or lunch. You can't go wrong ordering here! We will definitely be back for Taco Tuesday!

we had dinner last night at festival tacos in DeRidder the waitresses need very much training..... it was out of control our drinks were made wrong and are Food she could not get it together the waitress we had my husband said her name was Brittany she needs a lot of training this is not the only time this has happened to us There at night it's been a bad experiences for us at night we could hear a lot of customers complaining around us festival tacos get it together...

we had lunch at festival tacos today in DeRidder like we always do. and let me tell you something the day staff today was very amazing like always very helpful they were on track and the Manager I believe Her name is Lucy she knows are order from the top of her head like lightning she already knew what our order was before we even ask her that is amazing wow she had everything on point and the Food was very delicious everything was on point I highly recommend this place way to go festival tacos y'all have my business!!!!!!!!!!

Food is good , business model is bad. I call in food so I don't have to wait, but they won't send the order to the kitchen until you either show up and pay or pay on the phone. That defeats the purpose of calling in a to go order. Im Not pulling over on the side of the road and digging out a credit card to pay for the order when I tell u I'm on my way to get it. I Will eat somewhere else. They are not consistent on this policy either, seems to only happen when the girl there answers. Not going back anyway.

Really great food and the salsa is delicious. Most of the time the service is great, but other times it can really lack. They used to have a server named Jose that was amazing, and always made sure you were taken care of. Not sure if he is still there or not.

A lot of people has told us about this place! So I thought I would try it out. I got the street tacos with steak, rice and beans and a small guacamole. First of all nothing had flavor! The tacos was bland and the guacamole was literally just avocados, no addings like pico and not to mention the amount of they put in the bowl was smaller than a dollop of sour cream💀 and for FIVE DOLLARS! The steak wasn’t even steak it was small cubes and super chewy! It was slow there not a lot of people eating in the restaurant and still took him 10 minutes to get a plastic spoon I’m guessing the actual spoons are just used for the queso. Their cheesy burria is good! But I've had better queso and chips. Plus you don't get salsa automatically for carry out

Pastor tacos are supposed to be marinated pork. Not sure what it was marinated in but tasted like hotdog water. No flavor at all, but at least it was hot this time. It's a dice roll you may get good food and you may not. I think it's the fact that we have very few food options here and restaurants have no need to compete. I'll probably order again out of sheer desperation. Leesville location is delicious so make the drive if you want festival tacos, unless you fancy gambling.

Love their food. But tried calling to place an order at 7:15PM and no answer. Went down there at 7:43 and they said they're closed although it closes at 8:00. So don't count on getting an order within an hour of closing. Super rude staff member looked like the shift supervisor possibly (short female).
Most of the negative reviews are about staff, not the food so that makes sense. Ate there all the time but this definitely chased us away. Back to Tony's😎✌️
