“My husband & I stopped here on our way back to Texas. I had the tacos de bistec & pastor. It's hard to find good pastor tacos and this place exceeded my expectations for sure. My husband had the menudo, which is also hard to find good Menudo, but my husband absolutely loved it! We will definitely be stopping here again on our next trip to Louisiana.

“Every time I am home for vacation from Tennessee where I am living nowadays. I stop in for some great food and drinks. I am a retired chef and know a lot about cooking Mexican food. The food, place, and staff are A-1 and I would give them 2 thumbs 👍.”

“Just finished having lunch there with my wife. The baked ham lunch plate was a perfect sized portion and the ham was juicy and delicious! The green beans and carrots were perfectly cooked and the red bliss potatoes were so tender. My wife’s ham and cheese sandwich was griddled to a beautiful golden brown. We both got a slice of pie to finish off our meal (lemon meringue for her, bumbleberry for me). Both pies were outstanding! We can’t wait to come back again!”

“It was amazing, the food was delicious and so was the service. Aishah Jackson (I hope I hope I didn't get it wrong) did amazing. I asked her for non burger options since I'm not a fan of fastfood burgers (I got the chicken fries) but she helped me with no annoyance and repeated things when I didn't hear right, she was patient with us and helped us with our drinks. She has shoulder length hair and a nice smile
Cons/ there was several flies in the window where we were sitting and outside, following our food, I think third window to the left when you walk in and the soap in the bathroom just smells like alcohol and turns into liquid after 8 seconds. Idk seems like a minor problem but I'm just reviewing it so.... I'm from Texas btw so this is fun reviewing things”
