Swamp Monster Restaurant Reviews
Had the pleasure to dine in this week while visiting Franklinton. Drove by and it caught our eye. Food is absolutely delicious and the service is great! Everyone was so friendly. Owner came to the table to introduce himself. He is such a nice guy. We will definitely be making another trip to Franklinton for another great meal and experience!
best in Washington parish perfect for family sit down at a awesome real southern restaurant flat out amazing
The cutest little restaurant with the friendliest staff and the food was amazing! At one point, the air was blowing right on my cold natured self, and the owner kindly turned it off just to make us more comfortable. By the end of the meal, the whole restaurant was laughing and playfully teasing about how warm it had gotten. It turned into such a fun, shared moment! We truly had a wonderful time dining here! Such a caring, welcoming, and loving atmosphere! Definitely check them...read full review

The Swamp Monster Restaurant offers an eclectic atmosphere with over-the-top swamp decorations and fun memorabilia, including cool decor and themed spaces. The food is delicious, with standout dishes like the roast beef po-boy, featuring tender and flavorful roast beef served on fresh, classic French bread. The restaurant also provides gluten-free friendly options, including roast beef on Jolie fries. Many guests praise the friendly staff, including the sweetest server, who deliver wonderful service and make visitors feel at home. The atmosphere is fun and inviting, enhanced by unique decor and 80s music. Customers often recommend trying the gumbo, which had good taste and seasoning, the Rougarue, and the Monster Mash, especially for fans of grits. The mouth-watering bread pudding is a must-try dessert. The burgers had colossal size shrimp and tasted amazing. The Jolie fries with roast beef and sauces were so good, and the lunch portions are huge, making it easy to share a dinner portion with a friend or date. This dining spot combines terrific atmosphere, hospitality, and food that leaves guests eager to return and bring friends. If in the Franklinton, LA area, visitors should stop by for an amazing experience.
