I’ve heard great things about Albasha, but my experience was a bit mixed. I tried the gyro, and it just wasn’t for me not bad, just not something I’d get again. That said, I’ve heard a lot of people rave about their seafood and the rack of lamb, so if I go back, it’ll definitely be to try the rack of lamb. The place has a good reputation, so I’m willing to give it another shot.

The chicken on my chicken shawarma plate was not chicken shawarma. It tasted like roasted chicken. There was no seasoning on it at all. A feta salad should not come with a dressing. It’s literally feta cheese on a salad with some vinaigrette. Was not a fan. Service was good though.

The other Albasha in Gonzales, however, Albashas Express, always takes our money but doesnt provide all food we paid for. Imagine a busy day at work, your starving, then NOT receiving some of the food you did paid. Its one thing to make a mistake, its another to repeat it multiple times, then go off on your customers because you do a poor job.
