For a Mexican/Tex-Mex restaurant, they could stand to use a little more seasoning on their food, if they even use any at all. You can't always rely only on the ingredients as seasoning--it still needs enhancement. Most of the meats seem a bit flavorless. Service was lacking, could be better, took approximately 10 minutes to be asked what to DRINK. And another 3-5 after that to be asked what to eat. But the chips and salsa for appetizers came pretty quick. Place was relaxed, not too crowded or empty, which confused me as to why it took 15 minutes to get asked what to eat when servers walked around and barely glanced at us while not serving others or getting food. Tried the El Mario plate. Chimichanga enchilada and crispy taco was all very good and plenty of food. Only request would be that they season the beef just a bit more. I'll have to come back and try something different because there are plenty of selections on the menu.
