Chef John Folse has been on my radar since the Lafitte Landing days. His recipes have inspired me, and I watch his "Stirring It Up" show on WAFB every Tuesday and Thursday! My wife and I love to cook (I mostly love to eat!) and Chef Folse seems to know exactly what we love to eat.
I have had the pleasure of working for Chef Folse at White Oak Plantation. The plantation is beautiful, Chef Folse takes pride in his place as he does in all aspects of his Companies. Wonderful person to work for.
The only problem is deciding on a dish. I just have to keep going back. How lucky are we to have such a talented chef near us. Chef Folse did a yearly Moonlight and Jazz fundraiser for St. Michael high school. Word got out. The number of parents doubled each year.
