Please look at the pictures to see what they call medium rare. The garlic is bitter, the steak is overcooked and DiGiorno pizza is better. Yes, I would have told my server that the steak was overcooked if she had come back to check on us after the entrées were served. We are Italian. We always pay cash n we always tip ridiculous. We, however, will not come back. Mandina's was better. And they weren't that good.

I was looking forward to lunch at this long establishment Italian restaurant. The fried eggplant, and wedge salad with blue cheese dressing were delicious, but the overstuffed pepper was a true disappointment. The stuffed pepper was no little protein.

Excellent meal! We were in town visiting family and I was craving some good Italian food. Jake was our server and was attentive, ensuring everything was timed perfectly. The seafood stuffed mushroom & veal parmesan were the star of the shows. And don’t sleep on the cannolis. I’ll be dreaming of those. We’ll definitely be back!

Couldn't think of a better restaurant to take over the former Tony Medina's location. It was really good.

Service was great. The food was ok. I went with my family. I wanted spaghetti and meatballs. It was served with two large meatballs but the sauce was nothing special. We had to order garlic bread separately. Another family member ordered veal and pasta and really liked it. Another family member also ordered spaghetti and meatballs, said it was ok.

On a rainy Sunday evening, we wanted some comforting Italian food to go with a cozy night in. We decided to skip the chains and support a local spot with great reviews, The Venezian on the West Bank.
I ordered the house pizza and fried mozzarella—$35 total. The mozzarella was $13, which felt steep, but I figured it would be worth it.
Pickup was smooth and the staff was genuinely nice. The pizza was ready on time, but when I grabbed the box, it didn’t feel particularly hot. I didn’t think much of it until I got home.
Unfortunately, that’s where things went downhill. The fried mozzarella smelled like old grease, which was a real shame because the breading was nicely seasoned and the cheese itself seemed good quality. Five pieces in the order.
The pizza was underdone—pale crust, soft center, and toppings that looked like they needed a few more minutes in the oven. It had the vibe of a take-and-bake that never quite finished baking.
We had been hoping to scout this place for a future date night, but after this experience, I’m not sure we’ll be back. With a little more care in the kitchen, it could have been great.
