“My wife, son and I were in from out of town and looking for a great place to have a nice dinner. Thanks to a Google search and 5 star reviews we found Mother of Pearl. The atmosphere is very comfortable, our waiter was exceptional, and the chef is superb. We had duck, quail, and a brisket burger, of which none disappointed. A must to try is the unique and delicious PB+Shrimp Toast appetizer. If and when we return to New Orleans we will eat here again. Thanks for making our evening special!“

“3/7/26. This is the gonto place for real Cajun food. I traveled 35 minutes to try Chef Ron's Gumbo. It was just as expected. The seafood Gumbo was delicious, and the pecan pie was excellent. If your in the neighborhood stop by and check out Chef Ron's Gumbo.“

“Gentleman that took my order over the phone was very helpful and professional. My order was ready when I arrived to pick it up just over 10 minutes later and the food was delicious. I ordered a fried shrimp poboy and the bread was super fresh, the shrimp were perfectly cooked and seasoned, nice size and well portioned. I also ordered a side of fries and they were plentiful, crispy and well seasoned. Highly recommend. Great neighborhood spot!“
