“We wandered from New Orleans to Algiers Point via the ferry. As we walked around we came across this gem. We just love the ambiance, the food was top notch and they had good beer. What a fantastic location!! I am a real estate agent and think every neighborhood should be developed like Algiers Point. There is a park for children on the corner across from Barracuda, and near by there is a church and a bar amidst adorable houses. Great location!!We did not get a picture of our food because we were too eager to eat. We just forgot!!“
“To me this place is the best Mexican restaurant in Metairie, Kenner and New Orleans, the food is very fresh, authentic, they have the best brunch, very authentic Mexican brunch, they have huevos ranchers, huevos divorciados, guacamole toast, tacos for brunch, French toast, enmoladas, enchiladas, omg they have everything, to me is the best Mexican food by far.Parking: They just built another parking lot across the street.“
“Cute and clean place with great atmosphere! We ordered pupusas, plato paisa, dessert and drinks. We left only empty plates there. Everything was delicious. Pupusas with the warm sauce-amazing! Grilled meats and shrimp-perfect, thick and tasty flan, refreshing rice water! Thank you for all.P.S. This place has All day menu and pictures of the food in the menu - this is very helpful.“
“Really cool outdoor space with good food, great for groups and vibey dates. If you want to eat outside, this is a top choice. You order at the window so the service is real quick and easy. Ordered a few tacos, the queso, and a bowl. So the tacos were ok, no real complaints. But the bowl is where it’s at. Beans and rice and guacamole and choice of protein and you can add broccoli and mushrooms. Great meal, really filling and delicious. The queso was unique, I added the chili and it came with pomegranate so it was a mixture of spice and sweet. Also, don’t sleep on the frozen mango margarita. Delish. This’ll be the happening spot as the weather warms up!“
“This bar/ restaurant had a great vibe, they did a lot of caribbean dishes and rums. They also play music at night and is incredibly more chilled than the French Quarter and Downtown. It is on Market Street in the Garden District. I should add the Rum House doesn't have parking but you can park free on several of the streets all nearby, but not on Magazine St.Parking: The free parking can be found on Harmony st, 7th St and 8th st and a few other streets.“
“It was delicious thank you! Great customer service wasn't rushed super kind and she was willing to add ingredients that weren't even on the menu to accommodate what I was looking for ..we had steak asada and pork tacos both were good but that pork!! ?“
“Great food!!! Parked at the truckstop next door and came in for a bite. My wife ordered the special, which was lemon pepper fried fish with pasta and a garlic toast. I ordered the fried fish player. It came with 3 huge tenders and fries. Price is on point with the food. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the gentleman behind the counter. I was only going to order to go but the place was extremely clean and just had to sit down and eat. Restrooms were clean to the max with a hit of clean smell. The place was spotless. Food was grilled behind the counter and made fresh. Flavor was on point crispy fish on both plates. Hot and not oily at all. They definitely put attention to everything they do and will be a customer evrytime I'm in the area. Can't wait to try the beans next and a poboy, maybe a burger too while I'm at it. My wife's dish was the past and she said the pasta had shrimp and crayfish too.“
“Discovered this place, as I was trying to find a quick bite to eat at a conference. I am so glad this is somewhat undiscovered, amazingly simple but good food, good people and GREAT musicVegetarian options: Mushroom taco, guacamole, nopalesDietary restrictions: Nopales are vegan and excellent!!“
“Such a cute place! We were going to eat at another restaurant near by, but they couldn’t accommodate. Walked to Vals and they were so quick! The food and drinks were amazing and the staff were so sweet! Definitely want to come back with some friends when I visit again.“
“I popped in at a seemingly slow period around 3ish or so. I've been here a few times . I never really get that welcoming vibe(my experience) but the food is always Pretty Good.Anyway this day I ordered the chicken Quesadilla meal...it came with bean and rice on the side...a small portion of Guac...sour creme..tomatoes...1st off my Quesadill wasn't cut.....ok. 2nd my Chicken Quesadill was so bland it literally just looked like shredded chicken inside a tortilla....no peppers no cheese...SADCASEADILLAI FELT NO LOVE WAS PUT INTO THE MAKING OF THISILL GIVE IT A 2.9 OUT OF 5“
“We absolutely loved this place! The entire menu is gluten free, the food is fantastic, and the staff are truly wonderful. The tacos were pretty small, so we were glad to have an appetizer before our meal. For that, we had the crawfish queso, which was one of the most delicious dishes we've had in NOLA. I Highly recommend this place!Vegetarian options: Lots of great & interesting veggie options!Dietary restrictions: The entire menu is gluten free!“
“Rosalita's Backyard Tacos is my favorite taco spot in the city. Their tacos are fantastic, the margaritas are delicious, and I love the little salsa bar options. Plenty of space for outdoor seating -- perfect for a pretty day.Parking: Park in the neighborhood and walk over“
“Unfortunately I wasn’t able to take a before picture of the chicken quesadilla but I do have an after picture lol. That was by far one of the best quesadillas I’ve ever eaten. It’s spicy and very delicious. I wanted to take a picture of my food but it was so good that I couldn’t stop eating it. ? Also here’s a pic of the truck. When I come back, I will update a new picture of the chicken quesadilla plate before I eat it, probably tomorrow.“
“I love this place and have been several times now. The salsa is served warm and is addictive. The birria is on point and the aguachile is so refreshing. The mitcheladas are so good and gigantic with all the takin and chamoy you need. Have yet to be disappointed be this place. 10/10“
“First time here. Ordered the Quesa tacos with chicken. Price wasn’t bad for 3 flour tacos. Service was good and the menu choices were great. The quesadilla was small for the price. Could have been bigger with added sides other than a dollop of guacamole. Other than that, great experience and food!“
