So many good books, nicely organized, but you could still spend hours just browsing through them and you never know what you will find. It's just SO smothering HOT in there that you can't really stay that long.

While still organizing and under construction, Angele (owner) does an amazing job of making you feel welcomed and finding anything you need. First of all, I didn't know this place existed. It was by pure chance I found it but if you've ever wondered or never smelled a book or want to know what books smell like just walk into this place. It smells exactly like book pages but not new old books. It's like the smell of the library when I went to elementary school. It's a wonderful smell the nostalgia of it all brought back really good memories. The owners are lovely and so inviting. I absolutely love what they are going to do with the place. I won't tell you. You'll have to go see for yourself but I'll tell you it's all good this for our community.

A Houma hidden gem! If you want new books they have them. If you want used books they have them (a lot of them). And what they don’t have they can order at a great price with pick up a few days later. Very knowledgeable and helpful when asking for not commonly found books. Can’t wait to read what I purchased and head back!
