I went on a Sunday, but they were closed. They were packing up yesterday's treats to deliver to a church and offered me some of those!! They were absolutely delicious!! But most impressive was the fact that the owners are so community oriented and thoughtful!!!!!
The best! So tasty and cheap! My favorite are the Washington squares. Imagine taking glazed donuts and condensing them down into bar form. So good. Their king cakes and donuts are also too notch, not to mention their very friendly staff. It's a must stop every time I'm in Houma.

After Hurricane Ida hit everywhere in Houma has gotten some damage, we're all still rebuilding and recovering. Times are rough and you have to take it one day at a time. Recently, while working I have gone to Petersen Donuts, not once but twice. Having a reliable donut place that opens early & is ready to serve so quickly has been a blessing.
