Song Phi Nong is one of the best restaurants in Houma. I come here often for Chicken Pad Thai level 5 and it always hits! So much better than any other Thai restaurants I have tried. The service is always great and I believe the owner herself checked on me personally today. 🩷
Whoever was running the kitchen today 03-10-2025 was very rude and ugly. Screaming at waitress as the entire restaurant heard here mouth bc my order was not correct. I cannot have heat so I ordered ZERO heat for my food. I knew the minute it was put on my table it had heat. Tasted it and sure enough no where near zero heat as I ordered. Tried sending it back only to hear screaming coming from kitchen. Quote: take it or leave it I was told… I left it as she requested and will never be back to a place I’ve dined many times before with no issues. I’ve recommended this place to several of my friends bc it’s always been good. Today was very surprisingly disappointing bc the manager went postal on my table. The waitress actually told us she was told it was coming out of her pay if I left!! Unbelievable, chefs mistake and blame waitress and myself. Adios for good!!
I ordered takeout of pineapple fried rice and WOW, the portion sizes are the best I've seen anywhere! This will last me three meals and was delicious. Great service. About $16 but that's not bad considering how much you get.

If I could give any place 1000 stars I would!!! The food was amazing! (You have to try the dumplings) and the owner was absolutely wonderful!!! I went in with my 2 yr old son. Of course he started getting rowdy after a while of us eating, and she came up to us with no hesitation and started to soothe him so I could finish my meal. She even gave him a treat for being so well behaved for so long. We felt so welcomed and the service was so fast. Can’t wait to go back.
Always great service food is perfect for taking some home

In the middle of Houma, this Thai restaurant had lots of people when I arrive on a Tuesday evening.
When it was filled with non-asians I had my doubts . It had good ratings so I stuck it out.
I was seated quickly and food came out very fast. Service was good and people were nice.
Food , though not as authentic as I would like it was good and could pass for Thai food.
The portions were large with plenty of protein like , shrimp, chicken etc. Most people will not leave hungry.
The beef noodle , though good was more Vietnamese pho style.
Shrimp Bean thread noodle
Salad was large and tasty. Mince chicken salad was little on the dry side but regardless, lots of chicken. They are not skimming.
For Houma Louisiana, This place had good value, decent food, service was prompt, and respectful. Good casual Thai / Vietnamese dinning.

Great Thai food , great service! Might want to brighten up the walls a bit, but the food and people outshadow the walls.

Great great service. Went out of their way to help with my dietary needs and with both patience and smiles. Thank you.
Vegetarian options: Please ask and they will help. That is what I did and had a great dinner. Thank you again.

DELICIOUS!! Clean & friendly restaurant, the best service & 5star food!!! Enjoyed everything we ordered!! The cheesecake was one of the best I ever had!!
I love the service here. Everyone is super nice and attentive even when it gets crowded. I'm not a fan of the atmosphere and I thought after moving into a former gym they would have made it look more fancy. But it's still just an empty gym with a few decorations. The food is decent but not consistent. I remember when they first opened at their old location and the food was so good then. It's gone downhill but we'll never stop eating here
Kid-friendliness: The portions for a kid size are really big so we enjoy that we can get several meals for our daughter.

I’m new to Thai food so I’m not sure what’s good but the parking lot lot was full and standing room only. My mama always said don’t eat at an empty restaurant. The place was packed.
