Was in Houma to catch a band in a club nearby. We got there early and decided to catch a bite to eat ; called Spigots and verified they were open until 10 pm. Upon arrival we sat and a friendly waitress took our orders the restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated.. The food was excellent. I had blackened tuna and green beans. The tuna was perfect pink n the middle and seared outside and green beans fresh and spiced with mushrooms in them. She had the Caesar salad-an ample portion . Food service and atmosphere all at a reasonable price
One of my favorite places to eat is Spigots. The location is suburb and the food and service are awesome. I have to honestly say I have not eaten anything I did not enjoy, all good.
Cool place to play pool

The bartenders clean the bar of food and drinks themselves without gloves on and then make your drink using the same dirty, germ-infested hands that just picked up used napkins, glasses, and dinnerware. The same hands squeeze the lemons and limes. This is a COVID nightmare. Common sense does not prevail. Will not dine there again.
Short stop
