I was away from home craving Japanese. I had never heard of Zen but decided to give it a go. I'm a huge Miso soup fan and am usually disappointed when I order it. Not this time. It was actually hearty as opposed to the usual watered down I come across. Had the deep fried pork dumplings and they were pretty good but now I know I prefer pan fried. A couple sushi rolls to top it off and I was easily satisfied. The prices are comparable to other places I've been and definitely not the worst food. I'd definitely go back. Service was great too.

I've been here twice with my grandpa I can definitely say we both enjoyed the service there and I do plan on going back when I can because I do want to try other dishes there it's a bit pricey but definitely worth it

Some of the best tasting sushi in Houma, with a very wide selection. The service is always quick and professional. It is a little pricey, but is worth it if you want some higher quality sushi.

Zen is definitely my choice for Japanese food close to home. Their fried rice is very authentic and flavorful. There is a wide variety of selections for all palates. I recommend getting the Sunshine Roll. It's notes of crunchy and creamy, pair well with the ingredients that complete this dish.

NEVER again will I eat here. I was charged $3.75 for a tiny serving of sweet chili sauce and $3.00 for a couple packets of soy sauce which was actually a REPLACEMENT for eel sauce and wasabi mayo. THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!!!
