Pick up time was short. Order was correct ( half rack of ribs falling off the bone ) Service was great.

Bar-B-Que Station #1 Independence offers a variety of barbecue dishes that exceed expectations. The brisket burger, praised for its good flavor from the bacon and brisket, was still spot on even after a long drive home. The ribs are delicious and almost make up for the brisket, which some believe might be prepared unfairly. The pulled pork was a bit dry, but the house BBQ sauce and baked beans were tasty. The green beans and baked beans were noted as to die for, with the right balance and just the right kick. The mac and cheese, however, was not recommended. The small town atmosphere and friendly staff make for a great dining experience. The 3 meat dinner with brisket, sausage, and chicken was a hit, served with a side salad and toast. The Loaded Lion grilled cheese, stuffed with brisket and avocado, is highly recommended. A great spot for a tasty meal, no BBQ sauce needed.
