Finally found a hole in the wall Mexican place in the Hollywood area that isn't mediocre but stellar. I guess a lot of places like this get run out of central locations because of sky high rents. I ordered mole chilaquiles with grilled vegetables, avocado, and birria through Postmates delivery. Perfect amount of spice and flavors are divine. Don't mind the brown avocado. Betting that's just due to the heat during transit, but it still tastes good!
I'm so glad I finally came here. I was a bit disappointed that this location doesn't serve alcohol -- some others do -- but I soon realized it didn't matter because the food itself is worth the visit. I had the queso birria special and it was to die for. I wasn't a huge fan of the nachos with carne asada (not much meat on the plate) but everything else about the meal was perfect. No indoor seating, so bring a jacket if you tend to get chilly.
