Damn good rum, and I’m not a rum drinker, well before now that is, Bayou rum is now on the list !!
Bayou is a nice Rum, kind of an insider tip. It's not broadly available in Europe. I'm referring to their Reserve Rum which is what i have at hand now. The Rum offers a rich taste with well balanced parts of cane sugar juice and Molasses. It definitely contains a significant amount of Molasses which adds that spicy, peppery flavor that Jamaican Rums are famous for without being too dominant.
