Just sat at a table for ten minutes and was not waited on with four waitresses sitting at the front door! Awful!!! Customer service! Friday 11/29 @ 7pm

Came on a Tues night got the special chicken quesadilla with rice & beans..rice & beans were hard & dry! Quesadillas ok..may try something different another time

The hamburger is the best I’ve had. Its a must re-do. Fried shrimp very good. Maybe a-bit more seasoning.

The food was amazing however the waitress knew in advance that we would be there with about 20 people. I feel like there should have been 2 people waiting on our group because she was slow and tried to bring everyone food out at the same time. Salad and gumbo came just before the meal. After eating salad and gumbo. I had take my food to go it was served too close together. I usually get my food to go but this was a family outing. So we went inside to eat.

POS system is down they r trying to work hard to get it back up so everyone who wanted to pay with a card will have to pay with cash

Came for some take out. Everyone nice and helpful. Place is decent.. paid over $50 for one meal and it look like everything was from a bag lol.. the veggies taste like they used a seafood spoon or something we seafood in it to cook the veggies. The bread was cold and hard.. the fries was ok. The salad was ok… the steak was decent but had a seafood smell to it as well… I should’ve just got Popeyes.

As out-of-towners from Dallas, we wanted to find someplace to eat dinner that wasn't something we could find at home. After a quick online search, we found Mike's.

The reviews were a mixed bag, with 5 stars from many and one of two from others. Despite the uncertainty, we decided to give Mike's a try.

Best. Decision. Ever.

We were seated within a couple of minutes of coming through the door, and were greeted by the cheerful and fun Cara. She was energetic and engaging and fun to chat with. I've got some food sensitivities, and Cara went above and beyond to make sure what I was ordering was safe for me. I was disappointed the crab cakes had peppers in them (despite my love for them, they do NOT love me back ?), so I ordered the sautéed shrimp in wine and butter sauce --- Cara was attentive to make sure they omitted pepper and onions, since those are tough for me. It was DELISH. ?

Hubs had the grilled salmon with steamed veggies, which he enjoyed very much. The hush puppies were phenomenal, too.

Cara said the steaks Mike serves are the best ever. If we were here for more than one day, we'd be back to try them.

The food was excellent, but even that didn't compare to the excellent service we got from Cara. Whatever Mike's is paying her, it's not enough. She was pleasant from beginning to end, and if we're ever in Jennings again, we'll be back and will be asking for section! She even told us about upcoming changes to the restaurant, which will be good to know if my husband ever has business in Jennings again.

The food was fantastic, the value superb, and there aren't words for the service we got from Cara (and being I'm a writer by trade, that doesn't happen often! ?).

If you're ever in Jennings, don't miss this stop! And definitely ask for Cara --- you won't regret it! ?

Dietary restrictions: Cara was great to make recommendations and changes to what I ordered to meet my dietary restrictions. That's hard to find!

Our group filled the place, we had 110+/-. We had a buffet set for us. Chicken strips, pork roast, rice and rolls. The brownies were so so.
