Oh my gosh...this place is amazing. Tara is the perfect example of southern hospitality. The cream and fruit filled pastries were incredible. We ordered 86 for all our faculty and staff. They were made fresh and the flavor was PERFECT! We will absolutely be back! Thank you for supporting the Lacassine High School Faculty and Staff. From the time I’ve messaged to inquire about ordering my birthday cake and two cupcakes, there was no clear communication and the communication wasn’t pleasant. I tried explaining and tried to understand them because I knew nothing about cakes, but I felt the conversation was aggravating to whomever I messaged with. I sent pictures of the design I wanted for the cake and the two cupcakes. The cake I wanted was a butter pecan cake with brown sugar cream cheese icing and two plain cupcakes with a design on them. My husband and daughter picked up my cake this morning and the lady told them about what all happened with the cake and cupcakes. Well, if there were problems with making the batter, icing, and/or decoration, it would’ve been nice to know beforehand. Instead, they walked in, listened to all the problems, and still paid full price; minus the cupcakes. If whoever made the cake was not completely confident in making the request, then they should’ve offered something similar/different or let me know they couldn’t do it at all. Knowing the greater possibility that we wouldn’t be happy with it, they could’ve communicated better. The cake we received had little to no flavor and the icing was very gritty and eating the cake as a whole wasn’t good. The cupcakes weren’t made the way I wanted either. The cupcakes we received were plain and undecorated. The icing for the cupcakes were given in a separate container to decorate on my own. I ❤️ Southern Crumbs Goodies!!!! There ooey gooey cakes are the best ones I’ve ever eaten. The staff is always friendly and polite. I never have to wait long to order. I’m usually in and out in 5 mins. The owner is Awesome! My sister wanted Meringue Cookies for her bday, I special ordered them from SC and they were delicious!!! 10/10
