“Sweet Generations is awesome and the cakes taste great! They were patient with my mother while she decided on how she wanted her cake decorated. They went through the books and also offered suggestions. When we picked up the cake, we were excited about how things came out! They gave directions on what we needed to do, and the owner carried the cake out to the car for us. On top of the decorations, the cake was delicious!! Everyone said how good the cake was, not too too sweet and moist. My mother froze a couple of pieces and my dad has been eating it lately, still raving about how good it is!! I will be using Sweet Generations for my cake needs. Until we meet again!!“

“Stopped by after dinner to satisfy my sweet tooth. They offer some crazy flavor combinations that I would never expect yet they somehow work. I enjoyed trying the different flavors. The gal who served me was so kind friendly and patient while I figured out what I wanted. There is a sign explaining a 3 sample limit, and I didn't see it until after my 8th sample probably, but she never once gave me a dirty look or refused me a sample. I did apologize to her for not seeing the sign and asking for more samples. She was completely sweet about it and did not make any kind of deal over it. And this place was jam packed with a line out the door and she was still the best. Awesome customer service! I highly recommend this place for dessert. It was a bit noisy because there were so many people inside, but other than that, fantastic place“
“Tried to find a cake for my wife’s 50th birthday for a dinner in New Orleans called sweet life bakery and they didn’t hesitate to take care of me and we loved that cake if I need another one and I’m in New Orleans I wail defiantly use them again“
“I finally had a king cake shipped out after visiting in January. As a fairly experienced baker and pastry chef, I was always very hesitant that a mail delivery product could compete with fresh baked king cakes I make each year. A friend has often ordered from another famous bakery and I was always disappointed in the quality.The first thing that caught my attention with this one is the mouth-watering smell that immediately hit me m as soon as the box opened. Despite traveling from Louisiana to rural California, I had it in my kitchen less than 14 hrs after it left the bakery. The sweet, fluffy dough is a somewhere between best of a sweet, brioche meets croissant with the slightest hint of possibly nutmeg and cardamom. We chose the cream cheese filling which was delicious. We really want to try apple and lemon next! My personal belief is that frosting and sugar are only to hide poorly made baked goods when working with pastry dough. This item 100% stands on its own. The dough is definitely one of my favorites. That being said, the frosting fans in my house felt it was the perfect sweetness to highlight the flavors in the dough. I will be ordering from here again for sure. Thanks for sending Carnival to the middle of nowhere! I will remember you in the future!“
