My husband and I stopped by at this hot dog place while waiting for a flight out of New Orleans, LA. We ordered the jumbo hot dogs and they were delicious. They were also very filling. We would recommend his place when at the airport.
Got a dog. Was just barely warm. So was a little unappealing. Price was reasonable though. Those zapp chips are addicting.

Gotta try this place! I waited to have my lucky dog before I left NOLA! Lucky Dog has been around since 1948 and I am proud to be one of the 21 million who have been served, more than once, one of these delicious dogs. If you happen to miss one in the city, see the sweet lady at the airport!

The manager at this location is horrible. She had one gentleman running the register and all of the food and had the audacity to make backhanded comments about him being slow while she sat scrolling Facebook on her phone. She told us it would be 5 minutes for food. It wasn't very busy. 15 minutes later we asked where our food was, not only did she not even have our order ready she gave us attitude for asking.
I grew up with Lucky Dogs from street vendors in NOLA. Passing through for work I saw the lucky dog stand and decided to get one for nostalgia's sake. Walked up to the counter and the woman and I made contact, but her and the girl she was talking to continued to talk and I was ignored for at least a minute before being acknowledged in an annoyed manner. I told her what I wanted, she walked away and got annoyed that I hadn't realized that I was supposed to insert my card by then. I wasn't told a price or anything she just walked away, lol. She didn't speak to me after that, just put the hotdogs on the counter without even turning to face me because she had started talking to the other girl again. I would have walked away before ordering if I hadn't had my heart set on getting a chili dog.

I approached the counter. The woman was doing something. She looked up at me and continued to do what she was doing. Approximately 3mins later when she finally determined she was ready to help me, she looks up and says “hot dogs won’t be ready for 30mins”.
The attitude of the young lady working today was atrocious. On her phone as she saw me walk up and continued to stay on her phone. After realizing she wasn't going to acknowledge me I asked a question to which she curtly answered only after a solid 10 second pause of her finishing up on her phone. In a rush, I ultimately ordered a pretzel and the quality was terrible. What the heck is going on between this place and Auntie Anne's next door. These staff are going to destroy your businesses.

The young man that grills the hotdogs in the back does real good job cooking them! 10/10
It's a lucky dog, tastes like what you might expect. Menu & vibe included below

Hi, I would like to recognize two employees, their names are Julianna and Lisa. They are very friendly, helpful and were delivering an excellent customer service with a smile on their faces. Thank you for making my night a better one (after a rough day). You both are making the difference. Keep working hard and going above and beyond.
You’d assume the workers were deaf with how they communicate to questions.
