Punjabi Dhaba Indian Cuisine #2 Kenner

I ordered door dash after a long day at work today and I decided to order from this nice Indian place in Hammond. This was my first time trying Indian food and I was really really excited. I got the butter chicken and garlic naan. This was the most delicious thing I’ve ever eaten. Curry is the most delicious thing ever! 😄 I can’t wait to try more. Thank you 😊

I don’t think this is Punjabi authentic restaurant. I have tried starters tandoori chicken and chicken 65 both are not good. As a main starter we have ordered kadai chicken and panner butter masala at least this items average in taste I strongly recommend to not go this restaurant

Had the lunch buffet, the items in the buffet were cold. Service was the worst I've had in some time. The food price was okay, but 4 dollars for iced tea seems high, especially getting only 1 refill. The inside was very nice looking.

I am a permanent customer here and I always like the food here. When I went yesterday it somehow tasted way more better than any other time before. I met the chef and he was absolutely fantastic with the behavior and I have no word to describe how the food tasted cause I don’t think there’s a word to describe how amazing that food was. Definitely recommended!!

My first time and here and the food was very delicious. My cousin and I had shared the samosas for an appetizer which was really good, especially the chutney that came with it. I ordered the vegetable korma which is my usual dish I get at Indian restaurants. The korma was perfectly creamy and spicy and paired deliciously with the garlic naan and rice. My cousin ordered chicken tikka masala which was also very delicious. The chef working last night is named Rakesh and he did a wonderful job at cooking our food. We will definitely be back here.

I missed the days of having a really good Indian buffet in the greater New Orleans area and was pleasantly surprised when I walked into PD to find a buffet! They change the items out frequently—which I know because I came several days in a row when I found out it existed, and I have yet to taste something here I did not enjoy

Food was delicious, we went for lunch where they have a buffet. I really like seeing what I'm getting because ordering off the menu for me is difficult at an Indian restaurant. Service was good and atmosphere was nice.

We bought some Tandoori roti from them today and they literally burnt each and every one of them! And honestly they were on the pricy side too. $2 for one roti!!! Big mistake to come here. Very disappointed
