The dishes are are on par for standard Cajun fare. Ambiance is cozy and casual. Service may be on the slower side, but it's because dishes are prepared fresh. Just be ready for a wait, though the food is worth it.
First, this may be the friendliest restaurant I have ever had the pleasure to have lunch. Secondly, the food was outstanding. We had the boudin balls as an appetizer. They arrive hot and delicious. I ordered the seafood platter with onion rings. The fried food was light and tasty. The fish was not fishy like many places I’ve eaten at other locations.
