The restaurant was great. The food people from the cooks to the waitress had great customer service and great attitudes. I'm definitely going to go back and enjoyed my time over there.

We were so excited to try this place and was really dissatisfied. Worst customer service our waitress was so rude and and didn’t even bring cups for salsa and when asked she was like well how many did you need. Food was horrible and it took forever and we were the only ones in there. Please eat anywhere else. Negative 50 stars!
I normally eat here but after tonight I dought very seriously if I will again my order wasn't right and I called. The girl that answered didn't speak English and she put a guy on that ask " what do you want" I explained and he said you order from here I'm like yes. Yesterday we went and ordered the egg rolls brrias no cheese in them they were fried in old grease. I'll be going sat for my money back. I waited 35 min my fish was dried out no taste no rice or beans or avocados I want my money back

Wow! Can’t begin to say enough good things about the authentic, flavorful, delicious food here. These tacos were on point and better than most I’ve had here in the USA. I will be back, and I’m bringing people! Shout out to Francesca for offering up great suggestions, for me and to the table next to me. 6 ⭐️
Get this out of the way- the salsa is very weak. No spice at all. But…..the taco sauce they bring to the table makes up for it. The green salsa was amazing and had a nice kick. I order the gorditas and an extra taco because I figured the gorditas wouldn’t be that filling. I was wrong about that. Ordered mine with carne asada and the flavor was perfect. My taco was the Campenchano which had the asada, pastor, potatoes, onions and nopales (cactus). The ingredients were overflowing. Not only great for Lafayette, but this would stand up to any Texas spot. If the chips and salsa were better it would be a perfect meal.

Loved the food. Even the chips and salsa was good. It does look like of like a dive from the front. We will be going back. House margarita wasn't from a mix.
Vegetarian options: Plenty of fish, shrimp, veggie options.

Overpriced for bad quality food, couldve gotten the same price for a bigger serving and better taste at chuys. Cannot believe that the chicken tasted like canned chicken, i cannot begin to imagine how clean the kitchen probably is. Our eggrolls came out smelling like fish, talk about cross contamination. $40 I will never get back and the worst restaurant experience ever. Also $6 sodas????? Ridiculous.

Pretty rough first impression here. Giving a 2 star instead of 1 because there's potential to improve greatly.Walked inside, and was greeted by a server drawing on a water bottle. There were 3 other tables in the restaurant.Got our drinks relatively quickly, and the chips and salsa.Salsa sort of just tasted like tomato sauce. Still ate it, had no affect on my rating at all.Ordered Taquitos for my wife and I to share as an appetizer, and both got Quesabirrias.Took about 20 minutes to receive our food, and we received both at the same time.Taquitos were hot on the outside, cold on the inside and tasted old. Wife and I each took one bite and couldnt eat any more.We moved on to the Quesabirrias, which just tasted like plain unseasoned meat. The broth was watered down and had a thin sheen of oil on top, but that was it. No flavor either.I think this place just needs management to step up a bit. Not once did we see a manager check on tables, and the servers didn't seem trained to know how to wait on tables. Especially with a table that ate less than a quarter of the food they were brought out. I simply suggest management taste the food that they are sending out, and check in on tables once in a while.
First time and very impressed. Supreme queso was yum. And fajitas were tasty. We went when they were not busy and there was no music are anything so it was a little quiet. Background music would have been nice.
