The place is starting to fall apart. Anyone could have seen this coming, as for the last 2 decades they've been catering to the "liberal" crowd, just like McDonalds does. So much for diversification. Lots of sketchy people walking around with nothing in their wallets. Definitely do not recommend this for families , Especially at night.

Mall is almost a ghost town. Only busy store is Dillard's. Owners should invest I maintaining the buildings. Maybe lower rent and be selective on their occupants to attract more customers.

I didn't see many people from the younger generation. Just old folks like me and my lady. When did youths stop hanging out at the Mall? They're all tiktoking and face tweeting Nintendos; that's what they're doing! It's disheartening in the extreme, but with luck, they won't register to vote.

All I can say is "what in the hell happened to this place !" Used to be a nice mall. I realize the retail scene is changing but jeez. Total dump, now.

So much to see. So many stores with really nice products. Prices are pretty expensive but the experience overall was very fun.

THE FOOD COURT IS GETTING SMALLER AND SMALLER..

The mall was huge. My daughter loved it, but we were just passing through and could not visit all the stores we wanted. But I loved the mall. It had everything!

Went to this mall for the first time. What I noticed first when driving to find a spot to park. The grounds are very well kept. When I left it was dark. The lights were lit. I felt safe to get back to my vehicle.

Although the mall had the things my Granddaughter was looking for, there are several things that are not so good. They don't need someone to tell you how to get to a store, just a map with the layout & names of the stores would suffice. The food court is nothing like it used to be. Many of the really good eateries have pulled out due to the loss of mostly good quality stores & services. Almost all of the major stores have pulled out leaving this place a shadow of it's former self. It's a shame that a city as large as Lafayette could not find the time, money or effort to keep good quality stores here. The malls are a dying breed of store. So much easier to order what you want over the phone or computer without having to pay for upkeep, taxes, or paying personnel to run or maintain the stores. SAD that these companies chose profits over people's jobs and saving on taxes to serve us the customers, so they become wealthier, for the sake of themselves. There are literally no discounts here, except for already overpriced items.

This place is just sad now. I remember when it opened and through the years and it went from a great place to shop and hang out to a modern, desolate wasteland. In the last couple of months there was someone shooting inside the mall and I believe someone was shooting outside of the mall and there were reports of someone with a knife. So definitely not worth a trip here anymore. Build-A-Bear isn't worth it. I'll go to the one in Baton Rouge.
