Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

One of the menus with the most options I've ever seen. Great food and our waitress was fast and kept checking on us. Check this place out if you haven't been here. Great for a date or family time

Food was good. Service was good. I was just confused by the police officer walking around monitoring guest as they ate their food. I wonder...

This was the first time to go to Cheddar's. I thought the staff was very polite, helpful and acted as though they really enjoyed their job. Great food and rest selection. Definitely will visit again!

I tried to have lunch here today. I was seated right away despite the parking lot having a lot of cars. I had a look at the menu. Prices seemed pretty good and a lot of it sounded good. I waited and waited but nobody came to even take my drink order. I got up and went to the restroom. Several of the waitstaff directed me to where the restroom was. I returned to my booth which was not far from the restroom. I waited and waited but nobody came to take my order or even ask what I wanted to drink. After a while, I got up and left because I had no reason to believe anyone was ever going to check on me. I got dirty looks from the group of waitstaff standing near the exit when I walked out.

The service was great. The restaurant was clean and not crowded. We were seat soon as we walk in. The waitress was very polite.

Delicious and high calorie. We had the grilled catfish and ribs, it was very good with good sized portions. Atmosphere is nice for a date. Good selection of mixed drinks at fair prices.

Went with a group and the fresh croissants were a big hit!!!! Each entree was good and generous portions. Friendly atmosphere. We sat at the bar and chatted with the staff.

We love Cheddar's. The food is always great and you can't believe what you paid for it. Get some Crescent rolls with your order the best in the world. Service never disappoints either. The prices makes it easy to take the whole family on a budget, but the food taste like you spent way more.

I used to love Cheddars in Lafayette, LA. But the service, cleanliness and food has gone down hill. Will not step foot inside again.

Though most of my food was amazing, the rice used in the side of red beans and rice was a vegetable/ rice mixture. I wasn't too happy with that variety, but the steak and shrimp selection was pretty good, which is why they deserve five stars. My only problem was the rice chosen, but other than that Cheddar's was a great place to get a late night dinner with friends/family.

Love Cheddars for their prices and great food. We were driving from New Orleans to Lake Charles and went way out of our way to come here for dinner. The service was great and food did not disappoint! The buffalo chicken wrap is enough for 2 people easily or for a second meal to take home!

Good food ,good portion size. Staff was polite and the place was cleaned. Price was good for what you got. Enjoined my day with my grandson and then we ate here. Great end to a great day.

We went a gender reveal there last Sunday. We ordered ribs and about 20 minutes after ordering, waiter notified us of them being out of ribs. When we did the reveal we excited. The manager told us to keep it down, yet when attending other events there at the same noise level we were told nothing!!!! The food was not what I expected. The only good thing about my visit was the island tiki in my opinion.

We were a group of 10 which included several kid. We went at about 2. There were barely any people there but it took at least an half an hour to be seated. So we get up to be seated and they wanted to put us at separate tables even though we were clearly a group of people wanting to eat together. So we had to wait longer to get a table for all of us to sit at. The server seem to have a bit of an attitude and it took longer to get things that we clearly needed like utensils, napkins and straws because she was so standoffish. We were kind and patient with everyone so I don't understand why we were treated the way we were. We even cleaned the table to the best of our ability without actually scrubbing the tables with soap and water and bringing the dishes to the kitchen. The food was good. However, this was my first time ever at this restaurant so it didn't leave a very good impression with me overall.

Unfortunately I wish I could leave a better review. The waitress we had was inattentive and disinterested in giving us good service. I had spoken clearly yet her attention was elsewhere as she had gotten not one but two things wrong on my order. The other two people I was with had things wrong as well. The food took about 45 minutes to get to the table, and not all things were delivered and we had to wait ten more minutes for croissants and fries. Once we were ready to pay, the receipt was wrong for our second party and they couldn't change it after I and my other guest paid on the same ticket. The manager came by and was very short, the waitress was rolling her eyes, and overall it was a very unsatisfying experience. It's a shame because the food is actually good. Won't be back. 🙁
