Our waiter Chloe was amazing! She was very knowledgeable and helpful with the menu. The atmosphere was a bit noisy with minimal music, but that’s what to expect in a tiny place. The texture of the food was divine!! The flavor was the complete opposite everything tasted like tomato with no flavor added. It was authentic not typically what Louisiana people are used to. The Mozzarella Frittas were scrumptious overall.

The Arancini had good flavor but was a little dry, and the Alla Vodka with Shrimp was on the heavier, richer side. The tiramisu was hands down some of the best ever. Some guests found the flavor of certain dishes tasted like tomato with no flavor added, describing it as authentic but not typically what Louisiana people are used to. Appetizers came out quickly, but entrées took close to an hour. Overall, CuGino is a true Lafayette gem with excellent meal options, delicious wine, and phenomenal service.
