I like to go with friends to this restaurant with my highest recommendations. I go to this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The the food there is tasty and the team is generous and cooperative. Every time we go to this place we have a gorgeous time. I warmly recommend this restaurant.

This was a great very traditional restaurant but unfortunately covid brought to its closure.

I call this unique place once a month as I like the special atmosphere that is unique to this restaurant. The personel is highly loyal and professional. The service is remarkablywonderfully fast. Not to mention, the food you get is highly distinguished. I ate there more than once and I was always delighted. The price is modest. I highly recommend this place to all my friends.

We have always loved Don's seafood until now, we got take out seafood platters and we got popcorn shrimps, one catfish filet that was cut in three pieces, one tablespoon spoon of coleslaw, etouffee, red beans and rice, a few fries. Please just stop the to Orders until everything opens back up. We could have spent our money better at neighborhood corner stores

Don's downtown just seemed like it was trapped in 1988. Most of the customers were all older and probably remember the heyday. The food was marginal but you paid seafood restaurant prices. I'm all for folksy nostalgia if the food is good. It wasn't.

"DON'S", the Original and still BEST, is an INSTITUTION for those of us who know REAL CAJUN foods. The crab & eggplant casserole is wonderful, when available. Standard menu items, like gumbos, fried shrimp, oysters, catfish, etc are classics. Good etouffee, bisque, & seafood stuffed items. Don't miss Don's on Vermilion. Parking lot in rear, good bar up-front, nice dining areas. Always GOOD ! I'm 77, have been dining here since childhood in the 1950's. Rick

Enjoyed food and service. Seafood salad was great

The food here is usually excellent. To be fair, I have a shellfish allergy and can only eat fish. However, the fish was so bland and unappetizing. Even the stuffed potato was bland. I was very disappointed. The restaurant is a nice place to dine whether for lunch or dinner. I think they just had an off day.

I used to eat at the Don's in Beaumont all the time. Since moving to La a cousin lives their gumbo and I go with her. Not as crazy about their gumbo but the catfish is good.

The worst seafood salad ever! All it had was lettuce. There was six shrimp with no flavor not blackening not broiled no seasoning. Six fried crawfish and six boiled crawfish tails that were microscopic. Small small small. I ordered Caesar dressing which was no better than anything out of a bottle. Terrible terrible terrible!

Terrible food. I had to seafood salad which was absolutely horrible. For $18 you get six shrimp no spice at all on them, six tiny crawfish tails fried and six tiny crawfish tails that are Boiled nearly unseeable and all lettuce. I ordered the Caesar dressing which was worse than some I've gotten out of a bottle. The only thing good was old fashion. So I suggest if you wanna old fashion get the cocktail but no food it is terrible! I gave two stars because I did not get sick

For the price not worth it. I felt like Gordan Ramsey was going to say stop eating and follow me.
