Heard a lot of great things about this place, so we finally decided to check it out. The line was long almost out the door which honestly got us excited, thinking the food had to be worth the wait. We even had a few good, candid conversations with other customers while standing in line.
When we got to order, we went with the rib plate and four sides: rice dressing, potato salad, green beans, and corn. The ribs were really tender not quite fall-off-the-bone, but close. Flavor-wise though, they tasted more like they were baked or broiled and then finished with BBQ sauce. They didn’t really have that true, smoky BBQ flavor I was expecting.
The potato salad was awesome definitely the standout side. The rest, unfortunately, were a bit underwhelming.
Customer service was good, which I always appreciate. I’d be willing to give them another shot and try some of their other meat options. Overall, I’d give it a 6/10.

I feel bad leaving this review because I love Dwight's but they did me dirty today.
To start they updated their website, it clearly states the shrimp and okra gumbo comes with two sides, I got two sides of potato salad and was charged for the second side. That needs to be fixed immediately, literally is false advertising.
Second they serve the gumbo to go in a quart container, but they only filled it halfway, I had just as much rice as gumbo, literally as if I'm eating stew instead of gumbo. Don't serve the gumbo Togo in a quart if your only going to give a pint.

I had the shrimp stew with fired fish, Broccoli and cheese, roll. The food was amazing, perfectly seasoned, hot and delicious 😋. The Customer serivce was friendly and respectful. There wasn't a long wait at all. The prices where definitely fair for all the food you get. We went during lunch time and yes they where busy, yet it was peaceful inside as we enjoyed our lunch.

Excellent place! There is no wonder the line is wrapped around the building on Sundays. Great food at a great price. Everything tastes great, including vegetables! You won't go wrong eating here
So, I wanted some bbq, but they didn’t have much left. The Sunday crowd wiped them out. I know Dwight’s is consistently good..I’ve been several times. They didn’t have macaroni, so I just ordered a piece of chicken. I almost fell on the floor when it rang up at 7.50. No way is a piece of chicken worth that…very disappointing.
