Purchased a double chocolate cake from Gambino’s and it seemed quite dry. However, the icing was super tasty and creamy without being overly sweet. The service was great, and the staff were engaging and friendly. I’ve heard nothing but good things about Gambino’s so I am sure the cake was probably just a couple days old or something. Overall I give it a 5/10. It was mid.

This is the best bakery I’ve experienced in my life, hands down. When I lived in Lafayette, I would go frequently for their chocolate chunk cookie. I have yet to find a cookie that even comes close. Their frosting is also amazing and they offer different flavors. Finally, their cakes are always moist and full of flavor. Do yourself a favor and try those cookies, I miss them!

Went to pick my cake up the day before Thanksgiving,it was looking so good,me and my babygirl had to get 2 cupcakes to hold us up until the Special day,a chocolate one and a wedding cake one! It was good! I just love sweets,they did a good job and the taste is delicious,if you like the almond taste! I would like to order one for Christmas! I got a mix of cookies and little pastries. There cookies are soooo good! But all of their ‘iced’ items are way too sweet- like they all taste the same- ‘ confectioners icing ‘ taste.- got different things but they all tasted the same. Now the service was super great, place was super clean. Giving 4 overall because of no difference between items.
It's a tough decision what to get, but what ever we choose is always delish !

I love their cakes! My go to birthday cake is their White Almond Cake with Buttercream icing and Strawberry Filling. The flavor combination is a great balance between the slight tartness of the strawberry filling and the sweet silky buttercream. The almond “classic wedding” flavored cake brings it all together. Yummy😋
