Purchased a double chocolate cake from Gambino’s and it seemed quite dry. However, the icing was super tasty and creamy without being overly sweet. The service was great, and the staff were engaging and friendly. I’ve heard nothing but good things about Gambino’s so I am sure the cake was probably just a couple days old or something. Overall I give it a 5/10. It was mid.
This is the best bakery I’ve experienced in my life, hands down. When I lived in Lafayette, I would go frequently for their chocolate chunk cookie. I have yet to find a cookie that even comes close. Their frosting is also amazing and they offer different flavors. Finally, their cakes are always moist and full of flavor. Do yourself a favor and try those cookies, I miss them!
The wedding cake I ordered for my nephews wedding came out perfect! The guest loved the wedding cake flavor and red velvet! It was designed just like the picture provided! Thank you Gambino’s! I would recommend for any occasion! 💝
