Finally decided to try Julian's Poboys...one word, amazing! I had the shrimp poboy and it was delicious. The bread was the best and the shrimp were fresh and fried to perfection. We also tried the Wild Turkey poboy, also delicious. Don't forget the onion strings. The best poboys we've had in Lafayette to date. The staff were great also.

Old style atmosphere with solid quality food. The bread used for the fried shrimp poboy is the first part of the magic. Crispy crust that flakes easily exposing the moist perfect bread hidden within. The second part is the fresh shrimp, fried to perfection.Having just had a fried shrimp poboy at another well known Lafayette establishment yesterday, I can say there’s is no way to pick a clear winner other than to say everyone wins having food like this to chose from. Will definitely be back to try that fried catfish I saw on the table nearby.

Food's great. Owners are lost. Went from 2 locations to barely being open for 3.5hrs a day at one location. They need help. They need fresh kind people to work the place and they need to get out so their customers can enjoy the food.

As a Cajun girl this was Hands down, the best shrimp poboy in a long time! Huge fresh shrimp fried to perfection. 6 on half. Plenty. Bread was French and perfect. Omg I ate it so fast, I forgot to take a darn pic. I have eaten this all my life in several restaurants in this state & this today was a highlight of my life. Bravo!!!

Great hidden gem. A friend recommended us to stop on our way home from Tennessee so glad we did. Food was excellent and waiter was very friendly

Amazing food, warm and welcoming mom and pop atmosphere and phenomenal customer service. Found this place through yelp while on a road trip and decided to detour to give it a try. We will definitely be making this a regular stop when we are passing through.

Anytime I'm in Lafayette, I look for places the locals eat. As I was driving on University, I saw it: older building, full parking lot. I whipped in. Once inside I was greeted by friendly staff. I went to what the half Julien Special. My lone complaint is I found it a bit salty. Not deal-breaker salty. Just salty for me. Otherwise it was good.I think I'll go back tomorrow and try the shrimp poboy!
Best shrimp Po boy we've ever had! Glad we asked some locals and were referred to this place.

This restaurant carries my favorite Cajun Seasoning of all time, and I ordered some of it, along with their spicy garlic pepper sauce. USPS must have kicked it down the hall or something, because I received a mangled up package with one of the bottles of spicy garlic pepper sauce broken. I called and told them about it, and they shipped me a new one.

Super awesome poboys. My husband introduced me and my sister to Juliens. The service is so friendly and I thank you for your kindness.

Always good food. Favorite is the Ragin Cajun.

MY food was good enough but I am pretty concerned about the racist activities described in the reviews.
