Makes me sad to post this because I really thought I had found a good Mexican restaurant having just moved to the area. I showed up and order wasn’t ready, as if I hadn’t ordered. The kid was sitting down to eat and they were seemingly fussing at each other about the order itself.
Get home and they didn’t secure my meal at all and it had poured all over the place. And on top of that, here is my full “order of rice” and my $6 order of cheese dip. They are stealing your money if this is how they do business. Go somewhere else or make your own meal at home.

A small but comfortable place serving authentic Mexican (rather than Tex Mex). Everything I have tried is made fresh on site, some made table side, and delicious. I have been eating their food about once a week for the last few months and haven't had a dud yet.

definitely worth stopping here. Server was amazing! She gave us great service, was patient with us (after driving twenty hours, we were brain fried), and gave lots of recommendations. There’s a salsa section that has many options including: chile de árbol, chipotle, green, red salsa. Drinks were good and there is aguas frescas. Food was really good and fresh. Restrooms are very clean with plenty parking.

If you aren’t looking for it in the middle of a busy city you might overlook it. However, it’s worth a try. The service was better than anything. The food portion was better than expected for a lunch size. Might try again.
The salsa and fajitas here is sooooo delicious. Service was excellent and the food is cooked and seasoned to perfection. I highly recommend! I came in for lunch when I was in town for work and was pleasantly surprised as a Texan to find this gem. One of the better Mexican food restaurants I’ve eaten at in Louisiana.

Had an opportunity to stop by and try the: Chicken Fajitas and Tamales. Both were excellent and prepared within 10 minutes of ordering for takeout.
