Super rude staff. Food is average, nothing great. But the little portly woman that took our order ruined a perfectly good weekend breakfast with the family. Never going here again and i advise you not either.
I don’t know what’s happened to this place, but never again. I come to Lafayette for business every few weeks. I’ve eaten breakfast here several times and it’s always been good. Today NOTHING was good. I’ve eaten at several LaMadeleine’s and they are mostly consistent. Today: The “French” coffee was not their usual coffee. The croissant was literally cold, I went thru about dozen napkins trying to dry off the bacon which was soaked in grease and can’t figure out how you can over cook scrambled eggs…but they found a way. The only reason I suffered thru this meal is because I was on a schedule and didn’t have time to do anything else…but never again at this location. There of several options for breakfast in Lafayette, use one of them.

They were surprisingly out of the ham and Swiss crepes, so I had the Croque Madame sandwich with an egg instead. It came with potato soup. The meal was tasty and reasonably priced. We also ordered the mushroom chicken puff pastry dish with a side of cheesy grits. Wow!! The mushroom sauce is heavenly and the grits are perfect. Great service.

One of my favorite places to grab lunch in lafayette! I’ve always had a great experience here but the other day the cashier, Amy, that took my order refused to sell me my second mimosa assuming that I’m buying it for someone else. She checked my ID (I’m of age) & I even told her this mimosa is for me, there’s no valid reason for her to refuse the sale. I hope Ms Amy fixes her attitude and quit acting so uptight!

We hadn't been before so we got a little of everything. The Nutella croissant was what my Nutella dreams are made of. The Croque was fine. The tomato soup was velvety. The chocolate croissant can be described the same as I would describe myself: savory and just a *little bit* sweet and plenty nutty. The coffee was yummy too!We went back for a blueberry muffin to go bc I thought I remembered a friend saying he loved them the most.

This was my 3rd time at this location. I took my girlfriend and we sat in front of the fire place where we both enjoyed breakfast. We shared avocado toast along with a spinach, bacon, and cheese omelette. Everything was delicious. The service was once again great. The staff here is really friendly and pleasant.
