Brought my youngest here at the recommendation of a friend. It was a first for both of us. The staff are friendly and courteous. The food is good, and reasonably priced. We will definitely be coming back.
Went in for lunch. place wasnt super busy. There were people but its not like they were slammed. We were seated, given menus and our water then sat there for 15 minutes and noone ever came back to our table to take our orders. There were at least 3 servers i saw. Not one of them ever stopped and asked us about ordering, nor did our server ever come back. They walked around to other tables, passing by us, even looked at us. Nothing.

Izumi Ramen (Noodle Bar & Grill) is a casual Ramen spot in Lafayette. The Japanese Garden Bowl with kale noodles and medium spice is a great vegetarian option, and the Japanese Garden Ramen is also available. Other popular dishes include the kimchi beef ramen, which is leagues ahead of anything else in the area, and the crawfish fried rice, which is absolutely amazing with perfection in taste. The gyoza is some of the best ever tasted, and the rice cheese balls with yuzu aioli sauce are delicious. The broth is the savior, spicy and a bit greasy. Service is quick, kind, and courteous, though the restaurant can seem understaffed on busy nights. The atmosphere is decent, with clean decor and reasonable prices, though adding extra meats is about $5 extra. Overall, it is worth a try to find a ramen that fits your taste.
