You wait in line, order cafeteria style, and see the food in front of you that you are about to enjoy. The menu changes daily, so be sure and call. Wednesday is red beans and rice....we came on a Sunday from Texas and we will be back to get these as soon as possible! The food is hot and ready and made fresh! They are doing it right! Make you feel like family and the food tastes like home. A must stop in Lafayette!!

I came from Houston visiting friends. First time here at Laura's 2. I had the fried pork chop with rice and gravy, Mac and cheese and corn matcha. And I tell you the food was delicious and outstanding. So flavorful. Now this home cooking at it's finest. Definitely recommend if you're in Lafayette Louisiana please visit them.

All I have to say is Wow! I normally drive in on Sundays to get the Bar-B-Que frequently but opted for a lunch plate with a turkey wing, rice and gravy, green beans and white beans, today because I have never had it. Absolutely delicious! They are always super friendly and just a terrific place all around. It’s a must try if you have the chance and want a wonderful plate lunch.
