Five stars all around. This place has heart. Staff was kind and attentive. Come hungry, the portion sizes are generous. I felt like I was at a community gathering and offered a plate. It has a comfortable/homestyle feel. I would highly recommend this place!
Went on posts from people on Facebook and some people i know. Not sure how i feel about the food everything was so spicy like it was loaded with cayenne pepper it was hard to taste the true flavor of food. My mouth tingled for an hour after i left. If spicy food is your thing then this is the place for you. I will say the ladies behind counter were extremely nice and courteous.
Road trip, Houston to New Orleans, we stopped specifically because of Mr. Chimetimes's review and it did NOT disappoint! We were warmly greeted upon arriving at 2:10pm - 20 minutes before closing time. I was disappointed that only one menu item was available, but it was understandable. We had meatball stew over gravy and rice, corn, and some sort of okra mash up. Every bite was heaven! I can't wait to visit again! 😃
