I enjoy a meal at Mel's quite often. Great place to meet friends for a cup of coffee and a warm pecan pie. The food is delicious. They even have a delicious chicken and sausage gumbo. The employees have been there for some time. They are all very friendly. Great service. The staff is like family. Service is quick. However sundays are very popular so you may have to wait for a seat but its so worth the wait. ☺️
Had we been able to eat i. Sure the food would have been amazing. However the server took a bit to long to take our order and my daughter could no longer wait and we has to go. Maybe next time we will definitely try again as this us my kids da dining.
I have been eating at this place for as long as I can remember. Recently took my kids here and we had a great breakfast!
