I was looking for a breakfast place downtown, and saw that this Salvadoran place that was open. I never had Salvadoran food before, but pupusas are my jam! Decided to give it a shot, and I was not disappointed! There were lack of communication for sure, but since the menu had english on it, it made it a lot easier! Pupuseria Usuluteca is easily one of the most, or if the most authentic Spanish food in Lafayette. The pupusas are unbeatable, could use just a little more spice but easily correctable with a hint of hot sauce. The atmosphere and customer service are unparalleled to some of the places downtown, definitely going back!
As authentic as you can get in regards to Hispanic resturants in lafayette. I am from Texas and have been craving good authentic Hispanic food for quite some time now and have finally found a place to satisfy those cravings.
