Absolutely amazing! Super authentic! Friendly staff! Might not look like much from the outside, but give them a try!

I was looking for a breakfast place downtown, and saw that this Salvadoran place that was open. I never had Salvadoran food before, but pupusas are my jam! Decided to give it a shot, and I was not disappointed! There were lack of communication for sure, but since the menu had english on it, it made it a lot easier! I had the following: Huevos picados (revueltos) - scrambled eggs, fried banana, fresh cheese, sour cream and fried beans, served with tortillas - it was delicious, a little heavy for breakfast, but I sure did finished it Pupusa - can this be the best pupusa in Lafayette? It was so delicious and cheesy! Their lunch menu looks pretty delicious, definitely need to come back to try their lunch menu!

2 stars because I'm sure the food is good. I tried to visit a few times. Drove almost 2 hours, could never find parking. Very disappointing?

Très heureux d'avoir visiter Lafayette en octobre 2019 ! Les cajuns sont d'une extrême gentillesse ! Merci encore !

Pupuseria Usuluteca is easily one of the most, or if the most authentic Spanish food in Lafayette. The pupusas are unbeatable, could use just a little more spice but easily correctable with a hint of hot sauce. The atmosphere and customer service are unparalleled to some of the places downtown, definitely going back!

As authentic as you can get in regards to Hispanic resturants in lafayette. I am from Texas and have been craving good authentic Hispanic food for quite some time now and have finally found a place to satisfy those cravings.

Really good food at a decent price, check it out! I like my food with a little more spice and if you're the same, u recommend using the hot sauce they provide

Everytime i go here i like eating the Pupusas, the bad is the rice and the tortillas. We ask for them to make the tortillas on the spot fresh and we keep getting old tortillas. Also the lime i got was old and nasty.

The pupusas are so good. I’m so happy Lafayette finally has a Salvadorian restaurant.

Love the restaurants modern design, yet the menu consists of your typical Salvadoran food.

Empinadas are great. The chicharoń and tamal are very good too. Good food for the money!

Delicious pupusas and empanadas!! I tried pupusas from a few other places, and this place has the best hands down! Real traditional food from El Salvador according to my future father-in-law who is from there. If you've never tried this type of food before, give it a try!!!!!

I decided to give this place a try while in the downtown area of Lafayette Louisiana. I ordered the Pupusas $2.69 ( the Salvadorian national dish) minus the pork. I also ordered a Tamal $1.99 with the chicken filling. Luckily I got there before the lunch hour so it didn't take very long for my order to come out. The pupusas was absolutely delicious and I definitely thought of that again. I ordered the Tamal for someone else but I did take a piece of it and it was really good. Great prices and the service was excellent. I will definitely try this place again. I want to try the empanadas on my next visit.
