Horrible customer service from a female waitress that insisted my husband was wrong about me placing an online order. I had 3 forms of proof that I not only placed the order, but had also paid for it. Interesting how my mysterious order suddenly appeared on their end when he started showing them all of my confirmations. But the Mixed Vegetable Pho was fantastic.

???⚪️⚪️⚪️I really wanted to discover what the major differences might be between a Parisian Pho and a Louisiana Pho.As the name of the restaurant suggests, we are in for a Southern Pho.From the start, I noticed the lack of bird's eye chili, and unfortunately the substitute jalapeños were not spicy and had absolutely no flavor. In terms of herbs there was coriander and holy basil in limited quantities, but no mint or Ngo Gai, but why not.The mung beans were annoying, they weren't very fresh. No rice noodles but thin noodles (well cooked). The beef was really good, above what I'm used to eating in Paris, with just the right level of fat. After more than 10 days without Asian soups, my palate was sharp, ready to enjoy a good Pho.Well even after all this time I found that the broth clearly lacked depth, there was not a precise flavor that stood out from it.The starter rolls were fresh and tasty. If I lived in the area I would still come back because there are not a plethora of offers, only two in Lafayette.

This is my favorite restaurant in Lafayette and no other place comes close, it’s no contest. I visit weekly and always get the large oxtail pho with mixed vegetables, tendon, steak, and brisket. It may just be the best pho I’ve ever had and I’ve had some pretty delicious pho everywhere - LA, Philly, New York, Chicago, Miami. The Korean short ribs are very good as well. Also I get the Vietnamese ice coffee to go with condensed milk - takes about 10 minutes and I don’t go anywhere else. I did once and I regretted it. See my other reviews. You won’t be disappointed here.

This could be one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the US. It is unassuming but the food is well prepared, flavorful without over reliance on salt. Ginger, lemon grass, tangy. If I lived in Lafayette, I’d be there every week.

My best friend and I frequent this spot quite often, maybe even once a week. The pho is absolutely amazing here, the best in Lafayette. The vermicelli bowl and spring rolls are also delicious. The service is usually fairly quick even if the restaurant is full. I highly recommend this place if you’re craving Vietnamese staples!

So we decided to give siagon noodle a try again after the last time we ate there 2 years ago we had a bad experience. The bean sprouts were bad and old looking, and the noodle portion for the pho was noticeably less.Well we are now leaving there again disgusted. Ordered the normal pho and they brought out our vegetables and I asked if I could get a lime because I didn't see it. They said they would have to charge another dollar and some change for extra limes.Bruh this lime was the size of a penny. This owner has had to lost his mind. If things are that tough he might need to close his doors down.King buffett can sell me an all u can eat for 3 bucks more than my pho and I can pig out on 4 plates and they still make money.

I wish I could only dock them half a star but I obviously don't have that option. I've eaten here many times and have never been disappointed with the food before. This one time was an anomaly. I ordered the duck noodle soup, and to be fair it tasted wonderful. I am dinging them because the cut of duck they used included a lot of bone, probably more than 50% bone and gristle on each chunk. Also, I think they just grabbed a pack of ramen noodles and threw it in to soften but never broke it up or cut it up, so I was left with a nearly solid chunk of very long noodles in the soup, making it a good bit more difficult to eat without making a mess all over the table.

OH. MY. GOSH.We always get the sugarcane shrimp vermicelli bowl and the dumplings. Absolute best food ever always so very good! Waitresses are so nice every time, and always treat us like royalty! The ONLY piece of constructive criticism that I can give is that the cleaning solution for the tables causes them to be a bit sticky. Makes putting your elbows on the table feel weird ? but other than that, awesome place for anyone! Will definitely come back soon and recommend to friends!Wheelchair accessibility: My mom is in a wheelchair and we are always able to get in!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Saigon Noodles, and I must say, it was an absolute delight from start to finish. This charming Vietnamese restaurant not only delivered some of the most authentic and delicious pho I've ever tasted but also provided top-notch service and a cozy atmosphere that made the entire experience unforgettable.Let's start with the pho. I ordered the House Special, and it was a bowl of pure heaven. The broth was rich and flavorful, with hints of star anise and cinnamon that added a depth of flavor I had never experienced in pho before. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the generous portions of tender beef were so succulent they practically melted in my mouth. The fresh herbs and bean sprouts on the side allowed me to customize the dish to my liking, and the squeeze of lime provided that zesty kick that elevated the flavors to another level. This dish was a symphony of flavors that left me craving for more. Now, let's talk about the service. The staff at Saigon Noodles were exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and made to feel like a valued guest. The waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and took the time to explain some of the options to me, which was incredibly helpful since it was my first visit. The food arrived promptly, and my water glass was never empty. The attention to detail and genuine care for the customers truly set this place apart. As for the atmosphere, Saigon Noodles has managed to strike the perfect balance between cozy and authentic. The decoration transported me to the streets of Hanoi, with traditional Vietnamese artwork adorning the walls and soft, ambient lighting creating an inviting ambiance. The seating was comfortable, and the soft background music added to the overall charm of the place. Whether you're dining with friends, family, or on a romantic date, the atmosphere at Saigon Noodles is perfect for any occasion. In conclusion, my experience at Saigon Noodles was nothing short of a 5-star culinary journey. The exceptional pho, impeccable service, and inviting atmosphere make this restaurant a must-visit for any food lover. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. If you're in the mood for some outstanding Vietnamese cuisine, do yourself a favor and head to Saigon Noodles – you won't be disappointed!
