If you really want to know how good it is, look at the people in line for this place versus no lines at the other places.In fact, the other places try to stop you like a street peddler, trying to give you free samples, hoping to change your mind. Not me!

The most bang for your buck in Lafayette hands down. I love this place and can never get enough of it, Sarku is one of the hidden gems and in terms of affordability it is stellar. I go here at least 2 times a month it's that good!
Best bang for your buck , it never dissapoints and you will definitely get very full. In fact , if you can eat alot get the extra chicken.

I was happy to see that the business page for this place exists. I've been coming here for over 10 years for the exact same meal so I owe them this favorable review. Located in the Acadiana Mall, Sarku is a small but bustling restaurant that has been serving the amazing chicken teriyaki special for, well, a LONG time. Don't quote me on this but I think about 99% of patrons order the special lol The chicken and veggies are prepared on the grill top behind a glass so you watch them cook. The result is succulent, well-seasoned chicken pieces and fresh steamed veggies served with rice or noodles. For a little under $7 the price is just unbeatable. I usually get extra chicken so I can feed on the plate for at least 2 days lol so I get a mountain of food for a little under $10. There's usually always a line, but the workers do a great job with keeping it moving quickly. And it is WORTH the wait regardless!
