Scratch Farm Kitchen is such a gem. The farm-to-table food is fresh and full of flavor, but what really stands out is how creative and genuinely delicious each dish is. The vibe is warm and welcoming — you feel good the moment you walk in. Can’t wait to come back!

Was dying for a biscuit… my son is an avid very strict vegetarian- avid health fanatic- so he suggested this place- I just had an output procedure so stayed in the car. When he came back in with 4, they looked huge and amazing! However- these were the grilled biscuits- they had a consistency like Church’s biscuits but literally to me were so very dry and tasted like paper. No flavor, no nothing 😳. He had gotten a bunch of butter and jelly so I figured I’d wait till I get home to try. Butter?!?!😵💫jelly? 🫢nope… called him to come get them. Maybe it’s an acquired taste? I even tried drowning it in syrup….um nope… now stuff on the menu looks amazing… not shooting them down yet… I will eventually try something else though… Will have to see…

I had the Comfort Bowl, which is lima bean based, was flavorful NOT SALTY.. Again, fresh ingredients!! Lavender Tea was somethin I never had before but it was refreshing. A real healthy alternative for those who live a active, clean, fitness driven lifestyle FOR SURE 💯
This was a quality, fresh and fulfilling brunch/breakfast spot. The essence of good nature, people, and food! Go visit Lafayette to catch this gem! I'll be back soon myself ⚜️🌶️👊🏾🪴 ..

We are just in town for a wedding and found this place from a quick bite and was totally surprised how wonderful the food was. So hard to find a place like this where the food is farm to table with such great taste!

The Scratch Farm Kitchen experience is fully worth the hype. I've gone in for a quick bite, for a long coffee date, for a family outing with the kids and teenagers, for a solo break. Each visit is like a recharge. I would say to check their social media for specials, because things often change in the farm-to-table world.
Very crowded, but tables inside and out. Menu is not that large, so I would’ve expected them to excel at the selection offered, but unfortunately this place fails to live up to the expectations and hype.
Both burgers I ordered had a nice crispy crust and as a whole, the burger was a very complete sandwich with toppings included. Individually, the burger patties were over cooked and dry. I did not specify and they cooked it to well done by default, but if this is a farm to table place that prepares and grinds their own patties, I find it hard to believe their default cook would be well done instead of medium or medium rare, or even asking how I would like the burger cooked. Because they cooked the presumably 4oz patty like a smash burger, all it did was dry it out because a proper smash patty needs to be very thin so that you are not squeezing out all the juice from the burger. I probably wouldn’t go to this place again for a while until they fix these issues. The other food I tried like the wrap and grits, were okay but lacking in flavor and seasoning. Texture-wise everything was great. Lots of potential with a restaurant that uses high quality ingredients, but I will have to give this place another try in the future.

I ate lunch at Scratch this week. The food was absolutely delicious! The service was excellent! The environment was fun and I enjoyed all the plants- they even had plants for sale. I will definitely be returning to Scratch!
