We were passing through town and this popped up near our hotel. Husband had the burger - I have never heard him sigh with delight when eating a burger before. I had the the hash bowl and it was absolutely amazing. The layers of flavor in both meals was outstanding! Staff was friendly and food came out quickly. Would happily eat here again!

I love everything about this place. This restaurant introduced me to beet ketchup. Like whhhaaaattt??? So freaking good… The interior is amazing. Ben’s murals are so awesome!! it’s just a really cool spot and so refreshing that they have such an inclusive menu. It’s very easy to find vegetarian options here.

Absolutely loved this place! Stopped here to grab some early dinner on our way out of Lafayette. The decor and ambiance of the restaurant is incredible! It’s a pop of beauty in that location. Food is phenomenal! Service is 10/10. We ordered the Hash Bowl & a burger. It was delicious. I live 2 hours away from Lafayette and I’m already planning to go back soon. Definitely give it a try if you’re in town.

This is very fresh, organic, good for you food, covered in micro greens and homemade sauces. Lavender lemonade was AMAZING. Their service was friendly, but no one checked on us or asked us if we wanted refills. Many employees were on their phones, not a professional atmosphere. Clean and inviting. It's just not my cup of tea.

Loved every single thing about this restaurant! The hibiscus tea was great! My husband loved his coffee with honey and all 5 of us raves about our food! My husband and I split the hash it out bowl and it was enough for us! Never would have imagined that combo but it works! Got me out of the box for sure! Will be back! Lafayette needs more places like this! Atmosphere is great!

I just had the best burger of my life at scratch kitchen. It was called the burger deluxe and if I was on an island for the rest of my life and I could only eat one food it would be that burger. They had a jazz band playing and the waitress was cute. I dont think ive ever had it better. Will definitely be coming back.

This is THE place to go for amazingly fresh REAL food ? ? ? ? The flavor combinations are impressive! A new flavor symphony with every bite! My husband and I were just passing through Lafayette and stayed for 2 days- SO happy we found this place! Not at all what we expected, and boy, were we pleasantly surprised! Right when we came in the door, Ben greeted us with a warm smile and was very knowledgeable of the menu, so helpful for our first time. We ordered breakfast burritos with brisket that was served with cherry hot sauce. We also ordered the boozy lavender lemonade ? ?. I just had to take home some lemonade and cherry hot sauce- that was decided before even finishing the meal! The only regret I have is that we both ordered the same dish! Would love to try more if we were in town longer. Absolutely perfection here, kudos to the owner for not only this creative and fun atmosphere and, of course, Delicious Fresh and Local food, but for also knowing to put Ben up front and let him shine. ? It is so refreshing to see someone at work thoroughly enjoying his day, vibing to the music, and truly having pride in this business!!! By the way, Ben hand painted all the murals inside. It is so beautiful and adds to a cozy vibe. I also appreciated the style of furniture, salt shakers, and coffee cups, all re-purposed. It adds to the charm, like being in Grandma's kitchen with a modern twist- upbeat music ? Absolutely perfection all the way around! ???? ??
Extremely rude front end service. Not helpful at all. Girl taking order seemed like she had better things to do than help customers. First time here, signs for order placement hidden by decorations. No displayed drink menu, when front end girl asked what we wanted to drink, was indignant when we didn't know, and instead of providing a solution or helping, just became shorter and more rude. Canceled order and left due to bad service.

My fav place !!! Gluten free deserts which is hard to find hand crafted. food is excellent. clean . Everything about this place is fabulous. I love stoping by saying hello to owner she is an amazing person. She accommodates me every time. I have G allergy and she is on top always making sure I get my food just right.
