I rented out the large uncovered patio area on Saturday for my husband’s fortieth birthday! We had the BEST time! Sara was SO helpful with helping me decide which area was best for us to rent. She was honest & realistic, which made the decisions easy for me! We had approximately 40-45 people and there was so much extra room! Love, love this bar—great spot. Also love that it’s dog-friendly…but some of their staff need to read the handbook on what dog-friendly means once more. Make sure your dog is a mute who is not ever startled when walked up on, or be ready to get the stank eye from at least one of the female workers here. 👀
This is something that was much needed in Lafayette. excellent atmosphere 21and up and away from the downtown area. Plenty of space inside to enjoy a night out

The Yard Goat is a unique gem in Lafayette, perfect for animal lovers. The outdoor seating creates a great atmosphere, like being in a big tree house. It offers plenty of room for large and small groups, with sharing tables available. The taproom inside is also a great spot, with tables and AC to stay cool. There are plenty of local taps so everyone can find something they like, and the QR code makes it easy to see all options. Outside, guests can enjoy TVs for college football and cornhole for some fun. The kitchen and bar are top-notch, making it ideal for group gatherings. Despite some issues with flat micro brews, the overall experience is rated highly. The large parking lot fills up quickly after 5 pm, so visitors may need to find other parking options. A new big parking lot is being built to help accommodate more customers.
